February 22. 2006 Pleurothallis restrepioides One of the larger "gems" from Hoosier Orchids - it flowered last Winter for the first time under my conditions, but since the individual flowers last only a few days, I didn't get a picture then. The leaves produce either keikis or flower spikes. This plant likes light conditions similar to Phals and needs good air movement to grow healthy leaves. Daily rain water soaks and occasional fertilizer - it doesn't like to dry out. |
