Stanhopea connata ( from Woodland Orchids at the 2008 SEPOS)
The blooms are strongly scented, a sweet scent with Camphor overtones comes close.

Vanda Robert's Delight 'Black' ( Natt's orchids in 2004)
Without intervention the flowers stay cupped, I flipped the petals and sepals back to create a flatter appearance. I was however advised to try next time only to gently flip the petals back and water the blooms along with plant and roots. There is a second spike, so I will be able to try that out soon.
