Angraecum sesquipedale

This plant produced one spectacular flower only a few months after I bought it. I was happy! Then it died, but not without having produced a small side shoot , which is visible in this photo. The pot then sat for years among my babies and "shyfloweris" until this year, when it finally reached again flowering size.  See photos below!

They are magnificent - about 7 inches across with a 12 inch spur. The fragrance is very pretty, noticeable at sundown.
