Acropera ( Gongora) horichiana

I picked up a small plant from Andy ( Andy's Orchids) at the GNYOS in April of this year.
Here it is flowering in the cage outside, 5 very cute fragrant flowers each measuring about one inch in size.
See below a closer look at the cluster and a close-up of a single flower.
Update January 2007 - the plant flowered very nicely - it produced two good looking spikes!

Also at the same time I had bought a little basket of Acropera ( Gongora) armeniaca from Andy's Orchids. This one produced about 5 or 6 spikes of varying lengths, but not all made it. The flowers are very cute, they look like golden birds.
and a single bird!
